EVANSVILLE, Ind. (WEHT) -- It was a beautiful day for the 50th Frog Follies at the Vanderburgh 4-H Center.

About 3,000 pre-1949 street rods are at the fairgrounds. A live build demonstration of a 1923 ford is taking place through the weekend as well.

The festival also has food booths and music. Proceeds from the Frog Follies are donated to local organizations and non-profits.

The annual Frog Races also happened this afternoon. Eyewitness News’ Wayne Hart and Stacey May were in the competition. They had to tickle the frog with a feather to help it cross the finish line and Wayne was able to take home the gold.
