ST. LOUIS, Mo. (First Alert 4) - Local police are joining forces Saturday to crack down on drunk driving.
This weekend is Saturation Saturday, and officers are out in force on area roads and highways.
Police are patrolling across the St. Louis region and setting up checkpoints to look for impaired drivers.
Saturation Saturday is held just before Labor Day weekend, one of the busiest travel periods of the year.
It’s a joint effort between Mothers Against Drunk Driving and local law enforcement.
The enhanced enforcement in the metro area will continue through the Labor Day holiday weekend.
