PRINCEVILLE, N.C. (WITN) - Multiple Edgecombe County crews were at the scene of a car that crashed into a bear in Princeville.

The Princeville Volunteer Fire Department says they went to a report of a motor vehicle accident near exit 490. Upon arrival, fire crews discovered the accident involved a car versus a bear.

The people in the car had no injuries, though the vehicle was severely damaged, officials say.

Edgecombe County EMS and Edgecombe County Sheriff’s Office assisted on the call as well.
