LUTZ, Fla. ( WWSB /Gray News) - Deputies say a suspected drug dealer was arrested after his drone, which was carrying meth and fentanyl, crashed into a Florida home.

Jason Brooks, 49, was arrested Tuesday on a variety of charges, according to the Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office.

The arrest came after a homeowner in Lutz called deputies for help, saying Brooks showed up at their front door. He had crashed his drone in the homeowner’s backyard and was trying to get it back, according to investigators.

Deputies say the homeowner gave them the drone and the multiple bags of narcotics, including methamphetamine and fentanyl, it was reportedly carrying.
