Sean McGinty admits it took Airdrie's players a few days to come to terms with Rhys McCabe's shock exit and has praised caretaker boss Aaron Taylor-Sinclair for getting their minds focused for Saturday's 1-1 draw with Queen's Park. ‌

The defender was one of six summer signings McCabe made and the gaffer was a big draw in his decision to make the move to Monklands. ‌

So McGinty was stunned when McCabe delivered news of his resignation to the players last week. ‌

The shell-shocked squad had to prepare for the Spiders clash with the uncertainty of who will take over playing on their minds, but McGinty hailed 'Sinky' for his efforts in getting the team prepared for Spiders.
