TOWN OF WAPPINGER – The Dutchess County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a shooting that occurred near Heritage Financial Park (Dutchess Stadium) Saturday evening around 8:30. The incident is believed to have occurred in the area of 45 Pappas Lane in the Town of Wappinger, just south of the home of the Hudson Valley Renegades.

A male with gunshot wounds to his arm and leg drove himself to Montefiore St-Luke’s-Cornwall Hospital for treatment of his wounds.

Anyone with information regarding the shooting is asked to call the Dutchess County Sheriff’s Office at 845-486-3800.
