I’ve always been a fan of “Jeopardy!,” but it’s not as much fun anymore. While I know the answers to a lot of questions, I just can’t come up with them right away. Many of my geezer and geezerette friends share the same concern. So, I’m designing two different versions of the game that I think have real potential.
The first one is called “Close Enough!” Same concept as “Jeopardy!,” with a host and three contestants. Here’s how it works: The host asks a question, like, “Name the cartoon written by Al Capp that ran for 40 years starting in the mid-1930s.” I buzz in immediately.
