HARTFORD, Conn. (WFSB) - Police are investigating after a deadly crash in Hartford on Saturday night.

At around 8:08 p.m. officers were called to the area of Maple Avenue near Bushnell street after a report of a crash involving a motorcycle, the police department said.

The motorcyclist was taken to a nearby hospital where he died from his injuries.

Officials have identified the motorcyclist as 27-year-old Luis Jiminez Flores of Hartford.

This incident remains under investigation at this time.

No further details were released.
