MYRTLE BEACH, S.C. (WBTW) -- Work continues in downtown Myrtle Beach as the city moves forward with its revitalization efforts. But some businesses are questioning when the work will be done.

Construction in the downtown area has been ongoing for months, being hit with weather-related delays and detours. On Broadway Street, a portion of the road has been completely dug up, impacting vehicle traffic near downtown businesses.

"It was a busy street," said Michael Miller, General Manager of Beach Bike Shop. "But, you know, that being said, the water lines have been in place since 1929. There was a lot of updating that they needed to do."

Beach Bike Shop sits right in front of the work on Broadway. Miller said the work has made things difficult for their customers.
