Two local men face murder charges in connection with a fatal shooting Friday at a Columbia student housing complex.

Richland County Sheriff's Department investigators arrested 19-year-old Tyron Shelley and 20-year-old Ta’John Goodwin. The two men are both charged with the murder of a man found fatally shot Friday at The Roost apartment complex on Southern Drive. The identity of the man who was killed has not been released.

According to Richland County Sheriff Leon Lott, investigators were able to identify the vehicle in which the suspects allegedly left the crime scene, and found the vehicle and the suspects at Shelley's home in the Earlewood area.
