BRONX, N.Y. (PIX11) – Eight people were shot in three different shootings in the borough last night.

At Haffen Park, a basketball tournament turned deadly around 7:30 p.m. Saturday night.

Five people were shot, including a 17-year-old girl who was shot in the face, police said.

A 32-year-old man was killed, and the teenager is in critical condition, police said. The other three people shot were taken to area hospitals in stable condition, police said.

Four people have been taken into custody and they have multiple weapons, police said. Police are still searching for witnesses and more information related to the Haffen Park shooting.

Just two hours before, another shooting happened on a crowded stretch of White Plains Road and East 212th Street.
