Israel’s warplanes have again pounded Yemen’s capital of Sanaa amid the Houthis’ military support of Palestinians in Gaza.

As many as 30 strikes were recorded within 15 minutes, killing at least two people, but the death toll is likely to rise in the coming hours. Five others were also injured in the attacks.

Bombs hit just metres away from the presidential complex, missile bases, and oil and power stations.

Footage circulating on social media shows an explosion ripping through a number of buildings near the presidential complex.

Plumes of black smoke is seen billowing into the sky above Sanaa shortly after the bombardment.

The strikes were the first to hit Yemen since a week ago, when Israel said it targeted energy infrastructure it believed was used by the group.
