A two-year-old girl was taken to the hospital Saturday after she was attacked by a rottweiler in Fort Lauderdale, fire rescue said.

According to Fort Lauderdale Fire Rescue, the incident happened at a home near Southwest 17th Avenue and 24th Street.

Crews got a 911 call for a dog bite, but when they showed up, they found the toddler with serious injuries.

She was rushed to the trauma center at Broward Health Medical Center

Her condition remains unknown.
