KEARNEY, Neb. (KSNB) - The National President of the Elks Lodge visited Kearney for the 113th Nebraska Elks Association Fall Conference. The conference, which started on Friday, is set to go until Sunday.

Bryan Klatt, the Elks Lodges national President, had the chance to visit the Central Nebraska Veterans’ Home, during his short visit.

Klatt said he enjoys his job the most when he can see what impact the Elks Lodges make to their communities.

“When you see somebody start crying over something you have done, and you made their day, their life totally different, that made you feel great.” Klatt said.

Klatt is visiting all 50 states to meet with Elk Lodge state presidents to help and to see what changes they are making in their community.
