BATON ROUGE, La. (WAFB) - Drier air has settled into south Louisiana, bringing hot but less humid conditions through the weekend and into the start of the workweek.

TODAY’S FORECAST

With drier air now in place, a less humid morning gives way to a hot, dry and mostly sunny afternoon. Highs will climb into the low to mid 90s, but the reduced humidity will keep the heat index below triple digits and no storm chances.

ANOTHER FRONT?

Temperatures stay hot through midweek with highs in the low to mid 90s. Another front is expected to move through Tuesday into Wednesday, bringing in a push of slightly cooler and help keep the dry air in place.
