BREMER COUNTY, Iowa (WOWT) - One person was killed and five more were hurt in a crash in Bremer County, Iowa Saturday afternoon.

According to a report from the Iowa State Patrol, the crash happened on the intersection of 190th Street and Piedmont Avenue just after 1:30 p.m. Sunday.

ISP says a 2022 Toyota Tacoma failed to yield to a stop sign when a 2019 Ford F-150 heading south on Piedmont struck the driver’s side of the Toyota.

According to the ISP report, 41-year-old Lungawia Chalthleng of Urbandale, Iowa was killed in the crash.

Five more people were transported to the hospital as a result of the crash. Currently, their conditions are unknown.
