ITHACA, N.Y. (WSYR-TV)-- An arrest has been made in a stabbing that occurred on June 12, 2025.

On Thursday, June 12, 2025, at approximately 9:45 p.m., Ithaca Police Officers were called to the 300 block of West Green Street for reports of a dispute. When they arrived, officers found a victim suffering from stab wounds. The victim received immediate medical attention from members of the Ithaca Fire Department and was later taken to a regional trauma center for treatment.

Through the course of the investigation, the suspect was identified as Nazir Chisolm, 20, of Ithaca, NY.

On August 22, 2025, members of the Ithaca Police Department took custody of Chisolm in Maryville, Tennessee, and transported him back to Ithaca to face charges. Chisolm has been charged with Attempted Murder. Chisolm
