Former Colorado Buffaloes safety Shilo Sanders' NFL story will include some additional adversity.
According to several reports, Sanders was waived by the Tampa Bay Buccaneers on Aug. 24, meaning that he won't be making the Tampa Bay Buccaneers ' 53-man active roster, which has to be finalized by Tuesday, Aug. 26.
The news of the Buccaneers waiving Sanders comes less than a day after the undrafted free agent was ejected from Tampa Bay's 23-19 preseason loss to the Buffalo Bills for putting a punch on Bills' tight end Zach Davidson.
Sanders faced an uphill battle to make the Buccaneers' roster from the jump, as he was signed by Tampa Bay as an undrafted free agent following April's NFL draft.
