ELIZABETH CITY, N.C. — Elizabeth City police have arrested a 19-year-old man in connection with a deadly triple shooting that happened in late July.

Officers took Kashaun Jalek Stokley, whose last known address is in the 300 block of Cypress Street, into custody on charges of murder, robbery with a dangerous weapon, and assault with a deadly weapon with intent to kill, inflicting serious injury.

Stokley was processed at the Magistrate’s Office and later taken to Albemarle District Jail, where he is being held without bond. His first court appearance is scheduled for Monday at 9:30 a.m. in Pasquotank County District Court.
