GREENVILLE, N.C. (WITN) - A man is facing charges after warrants show he dragged two Greenville police officers with his car during a traffic stop.
Warrants obtained by WITN say that on Saturday, two officers with the Greenville Police Department were trying to do a traffic stop on 20-year-old Andre Bass. Warrants say that Bass was told to stop and get out of the car, which is when he sped off, going 45 mph in a 35 mph zone.
The officers were leaning inside the driver’s and passenger side of the car during the stop, and were dragged when Bass drove away, according to warrants.
