Cowboys' Trevon Diggs gets knee injury update ahead of season opener versus Eagles
There's been a lot of doom and gloom surrounding the Cowboys in recent weeks but a new injury update is providing a breath of fresh air.
Cornerback Trevon Diggs, who has been battling a knee injury going back to a torn ACL in 2023, has been officially moved off the physically unable to perform (PUP) list after passing his physical.
Diggs recovered from his torn ACL entering 2024 but suffered a setback after a cartilage injury last December ended his season. He was on the PUP list all of training camp and preseason but on Sunday it was reported he is cleared.
This doesn't mean Diggs will necessarily be ready for week one against Philadelphia but it's a good sign for the short-term
