The Dallas Cowboys can now plug one of their defensive holes.

On Sunday, Patrik Walker of the team website announced cornerback Trevon Diggs (left knee) will be removed from the physically unable to perform list and moved to the 53-man roster. It's still unclear whether he will play in Dallas' regular-season opener against the Philadelphia Eagles on Sept. 4, but he won't be forced to miss the first four games of the season.

Trevon Diggs has passed his physical and will now be moved to the #Cowboys active roster ahead of the 53-man cutdown — from the PUP list.

still unclear if he will be ready for Week 1 vs. Eagles (ramp up is likely), but huge news.
