MEMPHIS, Tenn. --- Police say carjackers sprayed chemicals in a man's face before pulling him out of his Ford Focus and stealing it.

Two women were seen the next day using the victim's credit card at a Sam's Club, police said.

The victim told police he and his neighbor had just parked their car in the area of Goodhaven Drive and Airways around 1 p.m. Thursday.

A dark-colored sedan with two men and a woman inside pulled up behind his car. The two men got out, sprayed a "chemical agent" in his face, then pulled him out of the passenger seat of his car, he told police.

They got away in his Focus, with the sedan following behind.

Friday, two women were caught on surveillance video using the victim's credit card at the Sam's Club in the 7400 block of Winchester.
