Police officials are seeking the public's help finding a 23-year-old man wanted in connection with the Aug. 18 shooting death of an 18-year-old in central Lubbock.
Police officials say a warrant has been issued for Kendrick “Skrilla” Taylor, charging him with murder in the death of Lawrence Brantley in the 1900 block of 44th Street.
Officials warn residents not to approach Taylor, who they say is armed and dangerous.
His warrant stems from a Lubbock Metropolitan Special Crimes Unit investigation that began after patrol officers responding to a shots fired call close to 4 a.m. at a home in the 1900 block of 41st Street found Lawrence Brantley dead at the scene, a police news release states.
