WILLIAMSVILLE, N.Y. — Tops Friendly Markets has kicked off their donation campaign with United Way of Erie and Niagara Counties.

The donation drive is held yearly to support the United Way in funding critical programs which serve the local community.

From Aug. 24 through Sept. 6, shoppers can donate $1 or round up their change at participating Tops grocery stores.

The donations to United Way will support the organization's mission of "the power of collaboration in building stronger, healthier communities."

Tops has been holding the campaign since 2013. Just last year, the grocery chain contributed more that $57,000 to the organization.
