MOSCOW, Idaho — The Moscow Fire Department (MFD) responded to a structure fire in the 1700 block of Appaloosa Road on early Sunday morning.
MFD says they responded to the fire at 2:30 a.m. and had an engine at the scene in under seven minutes.
Firefighters say they got on scene, they saw heavy smoke and flames coming from the garage and upper floors of the home and the fire was venting from the roof.
Crews say they were able to prevent the fire from spreading to other houses, but one house did receive damage on the outside. Firefighters say the house on fire was "deemed unsafe to enter," and crews remained on scene to ensure the safety of everyone on the scene.
MFD says there were two adults and three children inside the home during the fire. Everyone got out of the house and no injuri
