FRANKLIN COUNTY, Wash. — Washington State Patrol (WSP) said one person died following a car crash Sunday morning near Pasco.
WSP says vehicle one was going southbound on SR-395 just eight miles north of Pasco. Vehicle two was northbound on SR-395 at Crestloch.
Deputies say the driver of vehicle one tried to make a left turn onto eastbound Crestloch when vehicle two hit vehicle one in one of the lanes on SR-395.
WSP says out of the three people in vehicle one, 76-year-old Mark R. Wallum died at the scene. The others in vehicle one were transferred to Kadlec Regional Medical Center.
Deputies say the driver of vehicle two was transported to the same hospital. All of them have injuries reported.
WSP says both cars involved in the crash have been totaled. No drugs and alcohol were involved
