A vigil was held Saturday night in Prince George's County to remember two women whose lives were claimed in a seven-car crash on Aug. 19.
Tara Gross, 50, and Dandra Byrd, 31, were pronounced dead on the scene along Landover Road, up the street from Woodmore Towne Center.

Loved ones of Gross and Byrd gathered in Woodmore Town Park to comfort one another. They lit candles, brought flowers and wore buttons with pictures on them to the vigil.
Evelyn Blount, Gross's mother, said her daughter was all she had and that she was her "best friend."
"It's hard," Blount said. "It's really hard because I can't get back another Tara. She all I had."
Gross's cousins described Gross as "a good person," "a light in everyone's life"
