Builders discovered what officials now believe to be the remains of children while working on a property this month
Authorities announced that the builders came across the remains on Aug. 15, in a discovery that "caused quite a bit of discussion within the community"
"We are continuing our enquiries to establish the identity of the remains, including their age and how they died," a police official said
Builders working on a home stumbled upon human remains possibly belonging to children.
On Friday, Aug. 22, the Lancashire Constabulary announced the discovery of bones in Lytham, England. The agency said the findings "caused quite a bit of discussion within the community," and officials believe the remains were part of "an isolated historical burial."
