PHILADELPHIA − The Eagles , like every other NFL team, are in the process of cutting their roster from 90 down to 53 by the deadline on Aug. 26 at 4 p.m.

The Eagles got an early start towards the 53-man roster, trading with the Minnesota Vikings for quarterback Sam Howell on Aug. 24. That could be bad news for the two QBs in Kyle McCord and Dorian Thompson-Robinson who were battling for the No. 3 job behind Jalen Hurts and Tanner McKee.
