ROSELAND, La. — Officials said Saturday that crews continue battling a massive fire at Smitty’s Supply in Tangipahoa Parish , where an evacuation order remains in place.

Shortly before 8 p.m. Saturday, officials said the fire was 90% contained. Recovery efforts are underway in the Tangipahoa River and nearby waterways, including booming operations to trap and recover product. A wildlife hotline (832-514-9663) has been set up to report impacted animals.

State Police said Smitty's is still developing a "dedicated claims hotline," a release said.
