COLUMBUS, Ohio — One person was killed after their car crashed into a house in Marysville on Sunday evening, police said.

According to a release from the Marysville Police Division, officers were called to the 600 block of North Main Street after a car crashed into a home.

The driver of the vehicle was pronounced dead at the scene by the Marysville Fire Division. Police have not identified the driver and are working to notify their family.

No other vehicles were involved in the crash and no injuries were reported inside the home, police said.

North Main Street was closed between Holly Drive and Elwood Avenue due to the crash but has since reopened.

The crash remains under investigation by Marysville police with assistance from the Union County Sheriff's Office.
