A DuPage County judge denied pre-trial release for a Carol Stream man who was accused of setting his home on fire and causing damage to neighbors' homes, prosecutors said.
Eric Neuman, 52, appeared in court Sunday morning on two counts of aggravated arson, one count of arson and one count of criminal damage to property.
At approximately 4:28 a.m. on Saturday, officers with the Carol Stream Police Department responded to a fire at the home of Neuman and his soon-to-be ex-wife, the DuPage County State's Attorney's Office said in a news release.
