BYU football quarterback commit Ryder Lyons was excellent in his season-opening performance of his high school senior year.
Lyons led Northern California powerhouse Folsom High School to a 51-13 victory over fellow prep power in California , Grant High School.
In the national television showcase game, Lyons passed for 408 yards and four passing touchdowns, and he added a rushing touchdown as well.
The BYU commit completed 31 of his 37 pass attempts.
