Police have explained why an 'unusual amount of officers' were spotted in a Warwickshire village. The large police presence was spotted in the Ullenhall area last night, Sunday, August 24.

Alcester North officers shared an online community update which said that local officers, as well as those from the West Mercia force were called into action following a call from a concerned member of the public.

This was over a car spotted driving through the village before it crashed into a wall. A suspect fled the scene but was later arrested.
