A 16-year-old boy arrested after a teenage girl reported being raped at Camper Calling music festival has been released on bail.

Police were called to the annual festival at Ragley Hall, Alcester, at around 11.40pm on Friday, August 22.

Officers arrested the teenage boy , from Redditch, following the incident.

The victim was being supported by specialist officers.

In an update issued this morning, August 25, Warwickshire Police said the suspect had been released on bail while enquiries continued.

A force spokesperson previously said: "An investigation has been launched following a reported rape near Alcester.

"Officers were called at around 11.40pm last night (Friday 22 August) to a festival at Ragley Hal
