There are no more preseason games to provide opportunities to flash. No more training camp practices to catch the eye of a position coach.

The Browns are officially to the point in the process where it's time to get down to an initial 53-man roster by 4 p.m. Aug. 26. One can bet it won't be the same 53-man roster that takes the field Sept. 7 in the opener against the Cincinnati Bengals .

The process ramped up when the Browns either waived or terminated the contract of 21 players Aug. 24. If the math checks out, that still leaves 16 players who will still need to be moved, not counting any trades that add someone from the outside.
