COLUMBIA, S.C. — Temperatures will stay close to normal today as a cold front makes its way through the region. This front will bring in slightly cooler air starting Tuesday and keep temperatures pleasant through the rest of the week.

Most places will stay dry today, though there is a small chance for a brief shower in far eastern areas. Even with the front moving through, the overall dry air means widespread rain or storms are unlikely.

By Tuesday, a stretch of cooler and drier weather will settle in. Afternoon highs will generally reach the low to mid-80s, while mornings will feel refreshing with lows in the lower to middle 60s.
