A Ryanair aircraft has been forced to remain on the ground at Manchester Airport after a traveller allegedly attempted to "force open an emergency exit" during flight. ‌

Fellow travellers intervened to restrain the woman and notified cabin staff, who subsequently summoned the flight's captain , the eyewitness reported. The traveller was relocated from the emergency exit seat whilst the captain was required to monitor the exit area. ‌

The aircraft was brought down and the woman in question was "led away from the aircraft by Greater Manchester Po
