A Ryanair plane was grounded at a UK airport after a passenger allegedly tried to open the emergency exit door mid-flight.
A witness claimed fellow travellers tried to stop the woman, with cabin crew alerted to the incident, and the captain forced to intervene.
The holidaymaker said the passenger was removed from the emergency exit seat and the captain had to stay by the exit door.

Following the alleged incident, the tourist said the plane was grounded at Manchester Airport, where the flight had taken off from, with the woman involved 'escorted off the plane by Greater Manchester Police.'
Engineers were brought onto the aircraft to inspect any damage and replace parts, the witness added.
