PARK CITY – Law enforcement issued a shelter-in-place in Park City Sunday morning due to an ‘active situation.’
The shelter-in-place order was lifted later Sunday morning, after the Summit County Sheriff’s Office reported a 40-year-old suspect was in custody, according to a Facebook post .
On Facebook, the Summit County Sheriff’s Office reported law enforcement was responding to an incident near Trailside Park, and issued the order due to an “active situation involving a potentially armed individual.”
“All residents in the area are urged to shelter in place and report any suspicious persons in the area to 911 immediately,” the Sheriff’s Office said on a Facebook post.
