YOUNGSTOWN Youngstown State University has partnered up with the Western Reserve Transit Authority (WRTA) to offer a brand-new method of transportation for students.

Starting in the fall 2025 semester, students, staff and visitors can take the Red and White Loop shuttles Monday through Friday between 8 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. during the fall and spring semesters.

The service will consist of two routes that run in continuous 16-minute loops.

The Red Loop travels clockwise from Federal Station through key campus corridors like Wood Street, Fifth Avenue, Wick Avenue and more. The White Loop runs counterclockwise along Commerce Street, Lincoln Avenue, Madison Avenue and other central areas.

Both routes are absolutely free, and no YSU ID is required to use the service.
