Two people have been taken to hospital with serious injuries after a stabbing on a TTC streetcar near Toronto's Little Italy Monday morning.
Emergency crews were called to the College Street and Bathurst Street area just before 8:30 a.m., Toronto police said in a social media post.
Paramedics said they transported two people to the hospital with serious but non-life-threatening injuries. A third person was assessed on scene, but did not want to be transported.
The two victims were a man and a woman in their thirties, police said, adding that both victims were passengers.
Police said a suspect, a 42-year-old male, was located and arrested, but could not say if the victims and suspect were known to each other.
