Toronto Police say two adult victims — reported to be a man and a woman both in their 30s — were stabbed Monday morning on board a TTC streetcar in the College and Bathurst St. area around 8:25 a.m.

Cops say the victims were taken to hospital via an emergency run, and the extent of their injuries was unknown but are reported to be serious but non-life-threatening.

One suspect, a man in his 40s, was in custody and there was a heavy police presence in the area.

Minutes later, at around 8:39 a.m., Toronto Police reported a second stabbing of a single victim in the Wilson Ave. and Ancaster Rd. area.

Cops said they located the victim with injuries. They were taken to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
