DETROIT - This is the largest free event of its kind in the entire world. The music lineup has been revealed for the 46th Detroit Jazz Festival .
The event takes place from Friday, August 29 through Sunday, September 1 throughout downtown and midtown Detroit.
There are dozens of acts performing on four stages over the course of four days.
“We are thrilled to kick off our 46th year as a free festival and continue our mission of providing inspiring jazz performances to our faithful fans around the globe without any barriers,” said Chris Collins, president and artistic director, Detroit Jazz Festival Foundation.
