CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCBD) - A party with a porpoise, I mean... purpose: the Lowcountry Marine Mammal Network (LMMN) will host its 3rd Annual Fins and Flippers Fall Fundraiser to protect marine mammals for future generations.

The event will take place at Bowen's Island Dockhouse on Sunday, Sept. 14, from 1 to 4 p.m. Those who attend can look forward to a Lowcountry boil, sweet treats from Southern Soirée, live music by Lady Jane the Band, tons of raffle prizes featuring many local businesses.

All of the fun supports the protection of South Carolina's beloved marine mammals, which is the mission of the LMMN.
