OMAHA, Neb. —

The wrong-way driver in a deadly Interstate 480 crash last month in Omaha will go to trial.

Christian Stephens, 22, is charged with two counts of felony motor vehicle homicide.

During his preliminary hearing, Omaha police Detective Joseph Hall stated that Stephens was found to have a blood alcohol content of 0.08 at the hospital around 3 a.m. The initial call for the crash came in around 2:10 a.m.

Hall also said that when police searched Stephens' pickup truck, they found open cans of beer in front of the steering wheel and on the ground outside the vehicle. An open can of vodka seltzer was found underneath the passenger seat. More unopened cans were found in the bed of the truck.
