HENRICO, Va. (WWBT) - The Henrico County Police Division says a 39-year-old woman was killed in a hit-and-run crash last week.

Around 10:40 p.m. Friday, officers responded to the area of West Broad Street and Emerywood Parkway.

When officers arrived, they found a woman with “obvious signs of trauma.” The woman - identified Monday as Tasha Baker - died at the scene, according to investigators.

Police believe the woman was crossing West Broad Street when she was hit by a car, which drove away from the scene.

Police say Baker is from New York, but had been living in the Henrico area for a period of time with no permanent address.
