A young woman has found significant success after launching a unique business venture from her parents' kitchen. Hannah Spencer, 25, hailing from Widnes, Cheshire , decided to leave her A-Level studies at Carmel College early and began working shifts at a Marks and Spencer café.

Whilst working there, Hannah conceived the idea of a glove that could remove makeup with just the addition of water. The innovative product, named Hansies, was born in 2023 in her parents' kitchen and quickly gained popularity.

Hannah's company, OSX Beauty, now produces Hansies on a full-time basis, having sold 15,000 products in the past year alone. In 2024, she also established SheCommerce UK, a mentorship programme for budding entrepreneurs
