An appeal has been launched after an intruder fled the scene of a burglary when the victim woke up. The incident took place at a home in Holden Street, Radford , at around 2.45am on July 10.

The occupant was awoken by an intruder who fled when he was noticed by the victim. Nottinghamshire Police have now released two pictures of a man they would like to speak to, as they believe he might have information about the incident.

PC Ebony Richardson, of Nottinghamshire Police, said: "This was an upsetting incident for the victim, and we are determined to get to the bottom of what happened. To this end we would like to speak to the man pictured in these images.
